Amidst the tribulations
That life inflicts
came a Gift
From the Gods.

Singing songs
They came.
Of solace
Of grace
Of eternity!
Oh! the joy!!
And singing
songs, they left!!


Now Gods too are
jealous. The last leaf
Of "The Trinity" was
carefully taken!
Back to where they
come from!!

Pattammal!
Mother of song,
We will NOT miss you
For your songs
are still here!
and they will
reverberate across
Centuries to come!!
